Funding bodies increasingly require their grant holders to produce Data Management Plans (DMPs). DMPonline is an online tool to help research teams write DMPs and to easily incorporate institutional resources and recommendations available to them.
Umeå university library offers the tool DMPonline (dmp.umu.se) to provide UmU researchers with guidance about Data Management Plans (DMPs).
There are a number of templates within the tool that represent the requirements of different funders and institutions. Users are asked three questions at the outset so we can determine the appropriate template to display (e.g. the Horizon 2020 template when applying for a Horizon grant, or the UmU template in most other cases). Guidance is provided to help you interpret and answer the questions. This guidance is provided by researcher funders, universities and disciplines.
